We are currently looking for a Train Cost Analyst in Hennigsdorf to conduct development-to-cost activities .

Your mission:

• Setting priorities and clear guidelines for development teams to achieve cost targets.
• Coordination of development-to-cost resources to provide relevant DtC expertise for tenders and projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate all development-to-cost investigations and professions to achieve the agreed goals
• Ensuring the conversion of identified savings potentials into validated cost reductions compared to the baseline
• Perception of the development-to-cost representative in the bid or project team. Ensure and organise regular steering committees to communicate progress
• Active practice of Development to Cost through the application of DtC tools and methods
• Calculate & regularly update the "Cost by Unit in Dev" of the train based on IBS & subsystems
• Definition and agreement of the recurring "cost per unit" target of the train based on IBS & Sub systems. The involvement of the project participants must be ensured.
• Coordination of cost resources & expertise
• Based on benchmark, DtC expertise and objectives compared to the current recurring costs of the train: highlight key costs and propose priorities to stakeholders.

Your experience and qualifications :

• Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
• Excellent attention to detail skills
• Very good agility and collaboration
• Dynamic, proactive and autonomous attitude
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
• Knowledge of quality gates (V-Cycle)
• Overall knowledge of railway industry is a plus
• Fluency in English
• Commercial and financial acumen
• Confident handling of MS Excel
• Qliksense, DMA and Catia is a plus
