The Vehicle Lifetime Solutions division of Schaeffler provides comprehensive repair solutions and services for the global mobility ecosystem. With innovative strength, technical expertise and the highest product quality, the division also supports workshops with complex repairs and is a pioneering provider of repair solutions for combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles and prepares the independent aftermarket for the technologies of tomorrow.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Define product strategy of the REPXPERT platform, defining a compelling product vision, value proposition, and multi-year roadmap aligned with REPXPERT objectives and Schaeffler VLS platform business priorities
- Own end-to-end product management for the REPXPERT web portal and mobile app, including discovery, prioritization, delivery, release planning, and lifecycle management
- Drive growth in an engaged user base by improving adoption and retention, leveraging data-driven experimentation and continuous product optimization
- Evolve REPXPERT towards a broader service platform, including the assessment, prioritization, and integration of selected third-party services and monetization opportunities
- Own and steer product KPIs and OKRs, with clear performance management across MAU, NPS, loyalty program impact, and business ROI
- Translate business and user needs into actionable requirements, ensuring high-quality specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for internal and external delivery teams
- Support building and shaping an effective delivery organization, including setup of scalable delivery processes and governance with IT and external partners; potentially contribute to the transition towards partial insourcing
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (REPXPERT Operations Team, Technical Services, Digitalization/IT and relevant infrastructure owners) to ensure alignment on roadmap, dependencies, and release readiness
- Ensure seamless platform integrations (e.g., identity management, CRM, and adjacent systems), partnering with IT to deliver robust, secure, and scalable solutions
- Champion user-centricity and content experience, partnering with REPXPERT Operations to improve content discoverability, relevance, and quality across catalog, training, and repair information
Your Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in product management for digital products (platforms, portals, mobile apps), ideally in a global, cross-functional environment
- Proven ability to define product strategy and translate it into an executable roadmap with measurable outcomes (OKRs/KPIs)
- Strong experience in digital growth topics such as adoption, retention, engagement loops, and product analytics; ability to manage products with MAU/NPS style KPIs
- Hands-on experience with mobile apps and web platforms, including end-to-end delivery and release management
- Solid background in e-commerce-related topics (required), e.g., digital user journeys, conversion/engagement mechanics, integrations, and platform enablement
- Experience building or significantly improving delivery organizations, including working with outsourced providers and establishing effective delivery governance
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments across business, operations, and IT, including dependency management for underlying infrastructure (e.g., identity management, CRM)
- Experience with loyalty programs is a strong asset
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset and experience linking product outcomes to business ROI
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-ready storytelling and alignment in committee/steering settings
- Strong command of English (required); German is considered a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (national and international)
