Your Tasks:

• Clarifying the project mandate
• Defining goals for the overall project, including clarifying boundary conditions
• Establishing the project organization and assembling the project team
• Creating and maintaining project documentation according to specifications (e.g., project profile )
• Creating, aligning, and maintaining project planning
• Defining and prioritizing work packages and assigning them to team members
• Identifying and assessing project risks and defining mitigation measures
• Defining project communication (stakeholders, management)
• Representing the project externally (project marketing)
• Leading, supporting, and motivating the project team
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with costs (budget), milestones, deadlines, and quality
• Achieving project goals, including acceptance and handover to operations
• Managing conflicts and issues
• Project reporting (e.g., status reports, closure reports)
• Preparing, conducting, and documenting meetings (e.g., steering committee)
• Steering all project activities and ensuring adherence to guidelines
• Resolving resource conflicts through coordination with other project managers
• Proper archiving of the project

Your Skills:

• Sufficient experience (regarding project classes) in project management
• Sufficient experience in managing IT projects
• Strong ability to understand technical relationships and requirements
• Leadership qualities, motivational skills, and ability to organize and delegate
• High economic and business awareness
• Analytical and logical thinking, and goal‑oriented action
• Broad and solid understanding of technology
• Good knowledge of public sector organizational structures and processes
• Active/proactive communication (project marketing)
• Experience dealing with external influences on the project and responding to them
• Willingness to mediate between project organization and the surrounding line organization
