Area of responsibility
- Overall responsibility for the MONORAIL production sites in Höfen and Magdeburg with >150 employees and 5 direct reports.
- Budget responsibility and regular reporting to the business unit manager and senior management
- Ensuring on-time, high-quality production for our customers
- Leading and developing the plant team into a value stream organization
- Implementing the business unit strategy and quality guidelines
- Definition and achievement of quality and efficiency targets, provision of suitable resources, and training of personnel
- Continuous optimization of processes in line with lean production principles and initiation of cost reduction programs
- Strategic personnel development and promotion of managers at the plant
Your profile
- Completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in production or in the management of a plant, ideally in an industrial environment.
- Experience in dealing with key figures and budget responsibility, understanding of modern production systems and digitalization, as well as quality management systems and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of machining production processes
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and assertiveness
- Experience in change and transformation projects
- You are fluent in German and English, both verbally and in writing
