We are partnering with a leading international organization seeking a seasoned Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead the design and delivery of reward programs across the Netherlands and Belgium. This is a strategic role where you’ll shape compensation frameworks, guide a dedicated team, and ensure alignment with global standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and implement a localized C&B strategy aligned with global HR and business goals.
  • Reward Cycle Management
    • Oversee annual compensation processes including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentive plans.
    • Conduct benchmarking, job grading, and budgeting.
    • Train HR and business leaders on global reward frameworks.
  • Benefits Design & Administration
    • Design and enhance employee benefits programs using market data.
    • Manage vendor relationships and oversee administration of pensions, insurance, and other benefits.
  • Job Evaluation & Classification
    • Conduct job evaluations and maintain grading frameworks.
    • Ensure alignment with the global job framework across countries.
  • Integration & Harmonization
    • Lead C&B integration projects for legacy companies.
    • Support onboarding of new business units by aligning compensation structures and policies.
  • Mobility & Expatriation
    • Manage internal and international mobility processes, including expatriate assignments.
  • Expert Advisory
    • Act as a subject-matter expert for HR teams, managers, and employees.
    • Provide guidance on offer packages, retention strategies, and recognition programs.
  • Compliance & Market Monitoring
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
    • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes, recommending necessary adjustments.
  • Data & Reporting
    • Maintain accurate compensation data.
    • Prepare and present KPIs, cost analyses, and other relevant metrics.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and develop a team of C&B professionals.
    • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience : 8+ years in Compensation & Benefits, with expertise in job evaluation, bonus plans, and compensation strategy. Background in international/matrix organizations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Dutch and Belgian C&B regulations, advanced Excel, and HRIS systems (Workday, SuccessFactors). Skilled in change and project management.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and Dutch.
  • Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities. Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
