Your Role
The R&T Flavorist Assistant supports the Flavorists in the development and application of flavors for culinary and snack products. This role involves compounding flavors, managing raw materials, preparing tastings, and ensuring accurate documentation to facilitate innovative flavor solutions.
- Flavor Compounding:
- Prepare liquid and dry flavor compounds for culinary and snack applications according to Flavorist instructions.
- Raw Material & Inventory Management:
- Order raw materials and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of raw materials in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Sample Preparation & Shipment:
- Prepare application samples for internal evaluations and customer projects.
- Organize and coordinate sample shipments to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Application Support:
- Assist in preparing simple applications for flavor testing.
- Set up tastings and document sensory results accurately.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of formulations, evaluations, and inventory movements.
- Support data entry into internal systems for traceability and compliance.
About You
- Degree or vocational training in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience in a flavor or food laboratory environment is an advantage
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken) – mandatory
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Basic knowledge of food safety and laboratory practices
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP or similar systems is a plus
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for flavors and food innovation

Your Role
