Your role
As Global Procurement Excellence Specialist - Data & Analytics (m/f/d) you'll be part of our Global Procurement Team where your expertise will drive strategic decision-making, optimize procurement operations, and contribute to cost savings. You'll gain valuable experience in a global setting, working with cutting-edge tools, and collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.
This role is a fulltime position to be located in one of our sites within the EAME Region.
- You establish ways-of-working & processes to enable the Procurement Team as well as the internal business stakeholder to work in an efficient and cost-effective way.
- You harmonize and standardize global procurement reporting, ensuring clear data analysis and insights.
- You collaborate with Finance Business Partners for thorough financial analysis, unlocking valuable procurement insights.
- You transform procurement data into actionable processes, integrating raw material pricing for commercial and product creation strategies.
- You deliver cutting-edge analytical tools and intuitive dashboards to visualize trends for the Purchasing organization.
- You proactively improve data quality, streamline processes, and automate tasks, generating meaningful insights with relevant KPIs.
- You train procurement organization on leveraging analytics tools (e.g., Power BI/ MicroStrategy) as well as on relevant KPIs.
- You act as a key local user of the Business Intelligence tools, services, etc. supporting the successful implementation of relevant BI reporting and analysis tools (e.g. MicroStrategy).
About you
- You collected several years of working experience in Supply Chain, ideally in Procurement.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, methods, and tools.
- You are an experienced business analyst with excellent analytical skills including sensitivity analysis and effective data visualization.
- You have working experience with SAP (Supply Chain focus), User of MS Office 365 tools e.g. Outlook, MS teams, Excel and PowerPoint.
- You are an advanced MS Excel user.
- You have experience in using Business Intelligence tools as MicroStrategy and Power BI.
- You have solid communication skills in German and English - both written and verbal.
- Your strengths are strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to work independently and multitasking.
- Good prioritisation and structured way of working.
- You have experience in a matrix organisation.
- You are experienced in project management and transformation.
