  • Policy alignment: Ensure >95% alignment with key compliance policies across countries/markets.
  • Incident resolution: Resolve 100% of high-priority risks/issues within 6 weeks; proactively embed learnings.
  • Documentation excellence: Maintain 100% of core compliance documentation up to date, reviewed quarterly, and accessible in real time.
  • SLA accountability: Resolve ≥95% of Payroll Ops queries within SLA, partnering with key stakeholders to improve first-time resolution.
  • Mentorship: Deliver ≥4 documented mentorship or coaching sessions per year; improve team review outcomes year over year.
  • Thought leadership: Publish or co-author ≥2 high-impact compliance articles/pieces per year and lead ≥2 external speaking engagements.
  • Stakeholder influence: Achieve ≥90% positive feedback from cross-functional stakeholders on compliance partnership.
  • Enablement & communication: Tailor messaging and materials to audience needs; support quarterly coaching/upskilling documentation.

What We Value (Who You Are)

  • Deep expertise in payroll, employment, and tax compliance across multiple countries or markets.
  • Proven track record of leading complex audits, regulatory reviews, or cross-border compliance programs.
  • Trusted escalation point and subject matter expert in high-risk or strategic matters.
  • Strategic communicator who influences stakeholders across all levels—including product, legal, and senior leadership.
  • Confident mentor and coach with experience developing team capability through structured learning and feedback.
  • A systems thinker—able to scale solutions, frameworks, and documentation with clarity and impact.
  • Adept at navigating ambiguity and fast-changing environments with adaptability and integrity.
  • Comfortable leading initiatives across async, multicultural, and remote-first teams.
