In this role, the successful applicant will support and manage our corporate infrastructure in over 70 locations around the globe in 24 countries. Along with day to day operational support, this position will be responsible for managing complex global projects and assisting in our roadmap for cloud computing. Other areas of involvement for this position include servers, storage, backup/recovery, virtualization, Hyper-converged Infrastructure, Microsoft AD, Azure EntraID, M&A Due diligence and integrations, and other strategic initiatives.

Preferred locations for this role are IN, OH, KY, IL with occasional travel.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and leading global Server and Storage projects and ongoing support.
• Project management for global projects involving cross fictional project teams.
• Document policies and procedures for areas assigned responsibilities
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and maintenance to ensure stability and optimal performance on supported technologies/environments.
• Provide assistance, documentation, and training for support personnel.
• Integrating into global support team and providing rotational ongoing support and off/ours support.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure problems affecting performance, efficiency, and availability in a timely manner.
• Effectively partner with Belden associates, consultants and vendors to deliver required technical solutions to meet business needs.
• Effectively manage assigned tasks/projects from inception to completion for quality, delivery and cost.
• Effective technical diagnosis and problem solving.
• Delivering technical solutions that are sustainable, scalable, reliable and secure.
• Yearly capital and expense budget planning.
  
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• Manager or directory level management experience.
• Advanced project management knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge and experience with cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced/senior level Infrastructure experience.
• Networking, server, storage, security/firewall, hosting.
• Background in working with a large global infrastructure.
• Team player. Works well with associates at all levels and business functions.
• Potential and drive for continued growth and improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or another related field.
• 10+ years IT Infrastructure experience.
• Experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft server OS, Cloud technologies, Cisco products and/ possibly Palo Alto networking also preferred.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $140,000-175,000.00, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
