Stroh Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH is a medium-sized family business based in Bruchköbel near Hanau, Germany, with a production facility in Hünfeld near Fulda. We are one of the leading manufacturers of high-precision diamond and CBN tools.
For three generations, we have been combining technical precision with genuine team spirit. Our tools are used wherever absolute accuracy is required: in mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, medical technology, and aviation. When it comes to micrometers, that's where we come in.
We are looking for a Production Manager Manufacturing & Electroplating with Process Optimization (m/f/d) for our Hünfeld site, starting on January 1, 2026.
In this position, you will ensure that our production processes run efficiently, safely, and precisely at all times. Through the sustainable development of structures, processes, and teams, you will ensure that we meet our high standards of precision, delivery reliability, and innovation.

Your responsibilities – Here you can make a real difference:
- You ensure smooth production processes, the coordination of day-to-day business with foresight, clear responsibilities, and the highest product quality.
- You manage using defined production indicators in the areas of quality, adherence to deadlines, output, and costs, and require deviation management from the teams.
- You can boost the efficiency of your processes through continuous process improvement and standardization.
- You will assume overall responsibility for the production area, manage department heads in a clear and structured manner, and ensure that the workforce makes visible progress through targeted training, transparent communication, and motivational leadership.
- You ensure consistent compliance with occupational safety, order, cleanliness, and quality standards in your area of responsibility.
- In special situations, you make informed decisions based on analyses of technology use, machine optimization, or investments, and in crisis situations, you take charge of communication and ensure a confident approach.
Your profile – What you bring to the table:
- A completed technical education (preferably in machining, industry, or tool mechanics) as well as a master craftsman or technician qualification.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Initial experience in project or improvement management that you can confidently apply in everyday production.
- Lean and shop floor management, as well as related tools that are a fundamental part of your working methods.
- Ideally, you have experience with dressing or precision tools, bottleneck management, setup time optimization, or visual control systems.
- Structured planning skills and a passion for improvement are evident in your daily work, as is your willingness to take on responsibility.
