With a current total of 81 employees, it builds, manages and administers residential and commercial buildings primarily in the Rhein-Erft district and the south of Cologne. Its portfolio currently includes around 3,387 of its own and around 690 externally managed residential units.

Sustainability Officer (m/f/d)

full-time

Your tasks

• Strategic development : Establishment, implementation and further development of a sustainability strategy for our existing buildings and our new construction projects.
• Support with energy-related renovations : Planning and optimization of structural measures
• Funding management : identifying, applying for and coordinating funding (e.g. KfW, BEG) in close cooperation with the construction and finance departments
• Neighborhood development : Participation in projects for sustainable mobility (e.g. e-charging stations), green infrastructure and social integration.
• Stakeholder communication : exchanging information on sustainability issues with tenants, local authorities, energy suppliers and supervisory authorities.
• Raising employee awareness : conducting internal training courses and workshops to embed sustainability in all areas of the company.

Your profile

• Degree in industrial engineering, environmental or civil engineering, real estate management, sustainability management or similar
• Experience in the housing or real estate industry, especially in portfolio management or construction desirable
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energies and subsidy programs
• Understanding of the balance between ecological measures and economic feasibility
• Project management skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary work
• Strong communication skills and persuasiveness in dealing with tenants, colleagues and external partners
