Vestas is looking for a BOP Team Lead (m/f/d) to support our Balance of Plant (BOP) projects across Northern and Central Europe. Region NCE > Customer Project Execution > Installation Site Support & Supervision
We are part of the Northern Central Europe (NCE) region, with a primary focus on Site Management and Site Supervision within the Installation & Commissioning function. Our mission is to ensure that Site Managers and Installation Supervisors are equipped with the right mindset and training, delivered on time to support our construction projects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external BOP inspectors across multiple projects, ensuring effective coordination and communication
- Plan and oversee inspection activities in collaboration with the Planning team, ensuring timely execution and compliance
- Lead and develop a team of supervisors, including hiring, training, and upskilling, while promoting motivation and work-life balance
- Allocate qualified and engaged supervisors and BOP inspectors to projects based on scope, safety, and quality requirements
- Translate strategic direction from Operations Support and Construction Management into clear guidance for supervisory teams
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure documentation accuracy, and maintain alignment with project standards
- Manage budgets and contracts, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Project Management, Procurement, HSE, and Quality teams
Qualifications
- Substantial experience in civil or concrete works within infrastructure or energy sectors
- Solid background in people or site management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools
- Fluent in both English and German, written and spoken
- Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Familiarity with contract management processes
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites

This position requires approximately 30 days of global travel per year.
