YOUR MAIN TASKS:

• Design and develop embedded software for vehicle communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet, to ensure seamless communication with various vehicle systems.
• Sustain and modernize well-established and stable software by integrating the latest technologies and methods to ensure its up-to-date status.
• Optimize software for real-time performance and reliability, considering resource-constrained environments.
• Develop and maintain diagnostic procedures and test cases to achieve continuous improvement and release.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive communication technologies and standards.
• Work in a cross-functional team to support the development of comprehensive automotive diagnostic solutions.

• Proven experience in embedded software development with a focus on vehicle communication protocols.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C
• Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and OBD-II.
• Experience with software engineering process models (ASPICE3, ISO26262, Agile, …)
• Experience with software engineering tools (JIRA, SVN, GIT, …)
• BS EE/CE/CS/SE or equivalent combination of education/experience required
• You are characterized by an independent, flexible and responsible way of working as well as the ability to work in a team.
