Tasks:

• Application of project-relevant processes in accordance with contractual requirements
• Ensuring QM tasks for the low-risk achievement of project goals
• Planning and implementation of quality-related activities over the entire product life cycle
• Creation of project-related QM documents (e.g. QM plan, process assurance plan, test sequence plan) and review of verification documents
• Participation in validation, verification and certification of systems and subsystems
• Implementation of software-related quality activities incl. milestone assessment in accordance with aviation approval standards

Skills:

• Extensive experience in quality and project management
• Good knowledge of electronics, hardware and system development
• Experience in software development, ideally with a focus on quality and process assurance
• Experience in the certification of military and civil aviation equipment
• In-depth knowledge of QM systems (DIN EN 9100, AQAP) and QM methods/tools (PDCA, QFD, FMEA, RCA, Ishikawa, Kanban, PPS, 8D)
• Familiar with development processes such as V-model, RTCA/DO-254, DO-178 and DO-278
• Sound know-how in requirements management, problem-solving methods, QM requirements and development assurance in civil aviation
