We are looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAM) to support and develop our partner network in Austria.
The role is ideally based in our Munich‑Ismaning office, though remote work from Austria is also possible. Travel within the region and occasionally to Sweden is a natural part of the role (up to approx. 30% ).
This position offers a great balance of relationship building, structure, and personal ownership — with strong support from experienced colleagues across sales, engineering, marketing, and training.
YOUR FUTURE TEAM
You will be part of a collaborative and experienced sales organization for Middle Europe with approx 100 colleagues.
Within the Austria & Switzerland (ACH) team, you’ll work closely with six dedicated teammates and report to Territory Sales Manager Mirko Ambrico You will collaborate daily with Account Managers (AMs), Key Account Managers (KAMs), Sales Engineers(SE), Marketing, Training, and Distribution teams.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS AN ISAM?
Partner development & relationship building
- Support and grow existing Authorized Partners (APs) by understanding their business and helping them succeed with Axis solutions
- Identify and onboard new partners with long‑term potential
- Set clear goals together with partners and follow up on progress in a structured, supportive way
- Act as a trusted contact person and ambassador for Axis
Communication, learning & enablement
- Train, guide, and inspire partners on Axis technology, solutions, and value propositions
- Stay up to date on new products, trends, and use cases
- Collect market feedback and share insights with internal teams (e.g. ideas for webinars, trainings, campaigns)
- Use Salesforce to manage leads, opportunities, and partner projects in close coordination with KAMs and AMs
Sales activities & business support
- Balance your time across: ~30% growing existing partners ~30%, hunting and developing new partnersc~40% day‑to‑day sales activities (leads, offers, follow‑ups, coordination)
- Support partners and customers through calls, digital meetings, and on‑site visits
- Participate in trade fairs, events, webinars, and Axis Communication Academies
- Handle inquiries from medium‑sized end customers and identify the right integration partners
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for someone curious, proactive, and supportive, with a genuine interest in technology and people.
You don’t need to tick every box — what matters most is your mindset, motivation, and willingness to learn.
We’d love to see that you bring:
- At least 3 years of experience in a sales or customer‑facing role
- Interest in IT, technology, and IP‑based solutions
- A collaborative, patient, and service‑oriented approach
- Confidence in communication and relationship‑building
- Structured way of working and good time‑management skills
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience with indirect sales or partner‑based business models
- Background in security, technology, or sales‑technical roles
