For our laboratory based in Itingen BL, we are looking for a
Chemical Engineer
who wishes to join a multidisciplinary and international group, in a stimulating environment, to actively participate in the proper functioning of the laboratory and in the execution of instrumental analyses with cutting-edge equipment.
Job description
Pilot-scale organic synthesis of base oil components (up to 100 L) in an ATEX-certified environment
Execution of all production stages, including:
Raw material and reagent ordering
Formulation and synthesis
In-process controls (IPC) and quality control (QC)
Product purification
Operation and routine maintenance of production equipment
Development, adaptation, and documentation of SOPs for synthesis and equipment maintenance
Laboratory-scale lubricants formulation and polymer synthesis
Profile
Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, with a strong background in organic synthesis and industrial processes
Experience operating and supporting pilot plant activities in the chemical industry
Knowledge of short-path distillation processes is an advantage
Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office
Professional requirements
