For our laboratory based in Itingen BL, we are looking for a

Chemical Engineer

who wishes to join a multidisciplinary and international group, in a stimulating environment, to actively participate in the proper functioning of the laboratory and in the execution of instrumental analyses with cutting-edge equipment.

Job description

• Pilot-scale organic synthesis of base oil components (up to 100 L) in an ATEX-certified environment

• Execution of all production stages, including:

• Raw material and reagent ordering

• Formulation and synthesis

• In-process controls (IPC) and quality control (QC)

• Product purification

Profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, with a strong background in organic synthesis and industrial processes

• Experience operating and supporting pilot plant activities in the chemical industry

• Knowledge of short-path distillation processes is an advantage

• Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office
