The Position
Join IMP Quality Operations Clinical Packaging Switzerland. We are responsible for maintaining the quality and compliance of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP) during Clinical Packaging operations, including packaging, labeling and blinding. Our team acts as the appointed Delegate of the Swiss Responsible Person (FvP) and holds QA oversight over the entire Clinical Packaging operations. We drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to international GMP/GDP standards.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Leader to step into a role of significant reach. In this role you provide strategic direction for Clinical Packaging in IMP Quality Operations in Kaiseraugst and are accountable for the Quality oversight. You will lead the Clinical Packaging team (around 15 direct reports) and report to the IMP Quality Site Head KAU.
The Opportunity
To ensure the success of our clinical packaging operations, you will lead the team through the following key responsibilities:
Act as the appointed Delegate of the Swiss Responsible Person (FvP), providing necessary final Quality decision-making and represent your organization during inspections
Establish and maintain good relationships with your partner organizations in PT to assure alignment around both strategic directions as well as day to day activities in Clinical Packaging Switzerland
Lead a team of around 15 employees with a strong scientific and quality background
Overall Quality responsibility for all Clinical Packaging processes in Kaiseraugst
Driving the organization’s continuous GMP improvements and maintenance
Collaboratively set priorities and directions for the IMPQ Clinical Packaging organization to fulfill its business need to deliver the pipeline and to make it a great place to work
Support the Swiss Responsible Person (RP) for Clinical Packaging & Labelling in end to end cGMP activities, in maintaining the Right to Operate at the PT clinical packaging center in Kaiseraugst and in ensuring manufactured IMP products meet Health Authority and Company Standards or expectations
Who you are
To succeed in this highly critical and impactful role, you should possess the following professional profile:
You hold a BSc/MSc/PhD Degree in Chemistry, Life Science, Engineering, Pharmacy or equivalent with 10+ years in the Pharmaceutical industry and at least 3 years of people leadership experience in a global and/or matrix environment
You are open to new ideas, challenge conventional paradigms, and have a proven track record of attracting, developing, and retaining talent
You possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to influence others across all organizational levels.
You are a strong communicator at all levels and can build effective and constructive relationships with stakeholders, partners, peers and team members
You demonstrate strong collaboration and team-building skills across cultures, countries, and technical competencies
You are ready to engage with complex instrumentation and development programs to maintain your certification and expertise.
