Your job
Role overview
As a Data Analyst, you play a critical role in enabling data-driven decisions at TOPdesk. You provide reliable insights that our stakeholders can rely on and ensure data quality. You analyze complex data sets, create meaningful visualizations, and provide recommendations that influence key business decisions and long-term strategy. You work closely with colleagues from IT and other business areas to ensure that stakeholders have access to accurate, accessible, and actionable data.
- Analysis, preparation and maintenance of data sets to identify trends, patterns and potential
- Creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Collaborate with colleagues from sales, marketing, finance and other departments to solve data-based challenges
- Collaboration with the Data Engineering, Business Applications and other IT teams to ensure consistent and well-managed data flows
- Conducting ad-hoc analyses to quickly answer business questions
- Ensuring data quality through appropriate governance and validation measures and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR)
- Definition and refinement of KPI structures to support strategic decisions
- Evaluation and introduction of new tools, methods and trends in data analytics to continuously develop our analytical capabilities
Your profile
Education Experience
- Completed studies in data science, statistics, computer science or a comparable field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in data analysis with proven success in data-based decision support
Technical skills
- Ability to transform complex data sets into clear and decision-relevant insights
- Confident use of SQL and Python (or comparable analysis tools)
- Experience with visualization tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI or similar
Knowledge of data quality, data governance and data protection requirements (e.g. GDPR)
Personal skills
- Adaptable, solution-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and high attention to detail
- Experienced in building interdisciplinary collaboration and understanding complex business processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – also for non-specialist audiences
- High level of initiative, sense of responsibility and ability to work largely independently
- Willingness and curiosity to learn new tools and develop analytical skills
