The Scientific Computing Center (SCC) is the information technology center of KIT. The Scientific Data Management department at SCC is seeking additional staff to support the development of user-friendly file transfer tools between suitable endpoints such as the LSDF (Large Scale Data Facility) and the bwDataArchiv in a scientific environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operation, maintenance, and further development of existing WebDAV, FTS, and LSDF web portal services
• Extension of the WebDAV protocol to support third-party transfers using FTS and OIDC-based authentication. The extension will be provided as an Apache module for deployment within the LSDF
• Further development of the LSDF checksumming service as well as the web portal
• Integration of the services into the AAI infrastructures of KIT and the NFDI
