EIFER seeks a student for an internship position (m/f/d) with the title "Strategic Analysis of Biofuel Allocation in the Marine and Aviation Sectors". Start: as soon as possibleDuration: max. 6 months (compulsory internship)
Weekly working hours: 39.5
Remuneration: 560€ monthly Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive literature review and data analysis on biofuel production technologies, availability, imports, and consumption relevant to the maritime and aviation sectors.
- Support the modeling and analysis of decarbonization scenarios, with a focus on the strategic allocation of biofuels and alternative fuels in marine and aviation transport.
- Evaluate the role of biofuels within broader energy transition pathways, identifying trade-offs and synergies with other sectors.
- Contribute to the development of policy recommendations and a roadmap for sustainable fuel integration in hard-to-abate transport sectors. Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a University student in energy systems, environmental engineering, economics, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and data processing skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Interest in renewable energy, transport decarbonization, and policy analysis.
- Proficiency in English and/or French; knowledge of German is a plus. Benefits
