Product Manager (f/m/d) Control Systems

A Snapshot of Your Day 
Omnivise T3000 is a control system in the energy market. As Siemens Energy’s flagship control solution, it plays a crucial role in driving the global energy transition. In your role as Product Manager, you’ll be a key member of a multinational team responsible for shaping the system’s future. You will define features that are not only desirable, viable, and feasible but also sustainable, ensuring they meet customer needs throughout the product life cycle. By gathering both qualitative and quantitative insights on market trends, user preferences, and customer requirements, you will inform both the business and technical strategies, ultimately guiding the creation of the feature backlog and the overall design of a control system built to support the energy transition. 
How You’ll Make an Impact 

• Serve as the Automation and Artificial Intelligence Expert for the Omnivise T3000 control system, working within a multinational team to enable autonomous operation through innovative automation
• Introduce innovative technical innovations in automation and artificial intelligence, with a specialized focus on energy market applications.
• Demonstrate a passion for all phases of the product lifecycle and actively contribute to its continuous development, as well as use a customer-focused approach to build outstanding marketing and sales materials, effectively sharing them with collaborators.
• Play an integral role within a distributed team of DCS experts, offering valuable insights and contributing significantly to the Omnivise T3000 product.
• Collaborate closely with the T3000 System Architect and agile teams to drive the automation aspects of the product.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, sprint review, and team coordination meetings alongside Product Managers and Product Owners.

What You Bring

• University degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent experience
• Expertise in automation technology related to energy market applications 
• Proven expertise in artificial intelligence for autonomous operation of distributed control systems
• Strong understanding of the Product Lifecycle Management process incl. quality attributes (usability, security, safety, …), as well as regulatory and legal aspects
• Good collaboration experience in international teams to work closely with the Scrum teams to clearly communicate the customer needs
• Professional written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a benefit

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
