THE ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering designs for ground-mounted PV and BESS projects in line with the project scope, technical standards, and requirements. You will produce layouts, detailed drawings, electrical schematics, calculations, and Bills of Material to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of all assigned design outputs in accordance with project schedules. In addition, you will carry out energy yield simulations and coordinate design interfaces with internal teams and external stakeholders.

TASKS

• Prepare and develop designs for ground-mounted solar PV projects under established project scope and technical requirements
• Produce layouts, calculations, schematics, and technical drawings in line with project requirements
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, internal procedures and quality requirements
• Perform energy yield simulations
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all assigned design outputs in accordance with project schedules
• Maintain structured and traceable design documentation in line with internal procedures
• Support of construction managers and commissioning engineers.
• Strong communication and coordination with internal teams such as procurement, grid, construction management, commissioning, project management, etc.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders as required
• Deliver input for technical and commercial risk assessment and cost optimization

PROFILE

• Engineering degree (electrical, industrial, or similar)
• 5+ years proven experience in design and detailed engineering of ground-mounted PV power plants and BESS projects.
• Demonstrated skills and experience to prepare detailed design layouts, calculations, schematics, and technical drawings for PV systems
• Solid experience with AutoCAD and PVcase design software
• Deep knowledge of yield simulation software PVsyst
• Strong knowledge of applicable PV-related standards, specifications, and procedures
• Ability to deliver high-quality design outputs on time, in line with project schedules
• Experience maintaining structured and traceable design documentation
• Hands-on approach
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Fluent in English, with a full driving licence and willingness to travel.
