As a renowned and financially sound company, we are currently undergoing a process of change. The goal of this "change process” is to adapt our leadership culture, structures, and processes to accommodate the company’s significant growth. In practical terms, we aim to make our systems more integrated so that we can respond even more flexibly and quickly to customer requests and necessary process changes. However, we also want to generate more transparency so that we can better manage our sales using reliable metrics and calculate costs more clearly. Our manufacturing processes are assembly-heavy, and a significant portion of our workforce consists of skilled tradespeople. We are currently seeking a competent, empathetic, yet assertive manager (m/f/d) for our Engineering and Production departments who, as a member of the executive team, will work with us to shape the transformation toward a modern, future-proof industrial enterprise.
Responsibilities: As part of our senior leadership team, you will manage and develop approximately 900 employees across multiple departments and manufacturing segments. You will have budgetary responsibility, oversee capital planning and asset management, develop a new quality assurance strategy, and ensure the continuous improvement of our work methods and manufacturing processes. You will set the direction and goals, developing your management team in particular toward greater autonomy and a leadership style more focused on key performance indicators. You will guide our employees through this "change process,” support them in learning new skills, and drive the necessary transformation with perseverance, patience, and tact.
- Managed approximately 900 employees, including 5 direct reports, with a high proportion of blue-collar workers
- Developing management to foster greater autonomy and a metrics-driven leadership style
- Continuous improvement of work methods and manufacturing processes
Your Profile: You have extensive experience in production engineering and are familiar with assembly-intensive manufacturing processes. Ideally, you have already gained extensive experience in modernizing production and technical areas and have driven the establishment of key performance indicators, the realignment of management, and the modernization of processes. You possess entrepreneurial foresight, recognize necessary innovations, and are capable of initiating and implementing them. Your colleagues appreciate your pragmatic, hands-on approach, your motivating, empathetic, yet demanding leadership style, and your experienced perspective on necessary process changes. Last but not least, we are looking for a committed team player (m/f/d) who will help shape the future of the company alongside us.
- Leadership skills
- Preferred: Experience in managing change processes
- Strategic vision and pragmatic implementation skills
We offer you a challenging management and leadership role with a high degree of autonomy and freedom to act. In addition, we offer a secure, long-term position in a healthy and financially independent company, the opportunity to actively help shape an exciting transformation process, and excellent opportunities for professional development.
