For our client we are currently filling the following position:

PRODUCT OWNER FOR RADAR SYSTEM SOFTWARE (M/W/D)

• Act as the Kiel onsite liaison for a Lisbon based development team
• Define and communicate the product vision for military maritime radar signal analysis software
• Prioritize the backlog and coordinate daily collaboration between developers, tech leads, QA, and stakeholders
• Maintain roadmaps, manage dependencies, and ensure incremental value delivery
• Foster strong cross-team collaboration across locations and support legacy modernization efforts
• Serve as the main onsite contact for the external Portugal team, including occasional travel (approx. once every 1–2 quarters)

• Several years of hands-on experience in agile software development environments
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in product leadership (backlog prioritization, release planning)
• Strong collaboration skills in cross-functional and distributed teams
• Experience with legacy modernization and working with software architects
• Ability to manage dependencies, risks, and multi-project environments
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and Teams; DOORS or Jazz is a plus
• Fluent in English; German is beneficial
