Working in our CISC internal Service Unit "PRODUCTION+LOGISTICS” you will closely work with CISC Business Units, the Competence Units and other Service Units to optimize the process from customer purchase order receipt to the final product delivery.

Your Responsibilities

• Production planning: Appropriate production planning (including necessary stock levels) and production itself
• Customer support: Responding to inquiries (products, delivery times, prices, availability)
• Quotation and order processing:
• Entering and maintaining orders in our ERP-system (BMD)
• Monitoring delivery dates, coordinating with production, organizing shipments
• Order tracking and informing customers
• Appropriate production planning (including necessary stock levels) and production itself
• Price and condition maintenance:
• Maintenance of prices and discounts in the system
• Creation and management of price lists in coordination with Sales
• Implementation of price changes after approval by Sales or Controlling
• Supplier management
• Interfacing with suppliers to maintain stock level, prices and lead times
• Supplier selection and evaluation (QA and Cybersecurity)
• Administrative and organizational tasks
• Coordination between sales, controlling and accounting
• Support for sales with customer information, documents, etc.
• Preparation of evaluations, statistics, and reports concerning production costs, delivery times, complaints, and supplier evaluations

Your Professional-Profile

• Completed commercial training (e.g. industrial clerk, office clerk, forwarding agent) or equivalent qualification (high school diploma or higher)
• Professional experience in customer service, order processing and international shipment including customs
• Basic knowledge of production planning, logistics, and procurement is an advantage
• Proficient in ERP systems (ideally BMD)
• Solid command of MS Office, especially Excel (for evaluations, price lists, statistics)
• Strong understanding of commercial processes (from quotation, invoicing, shipment, customs)
• Experience in communication with customers and internal departments
• Multi-tasking abilities to work on multiple assignments simultaneously

Payment: This position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in trade and industry in information service and consulting. Independent from that CISC will pay a competitive package to reflect your professional experience.
