Your area of ​​responsibility
Occupational safety support in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act/DGUV Regulation 2 of the KHS plant in Kleve
Comprehensive and solution-based consulting and support for site management and its executives regarding HSE issues (including environmental aspects)
Maintenance and further development of basic occupational safety measures, such as risk assessments, hazardous substance overviews, training, operating instructions and occupational health care.
Conducting incident and accident analyses, as well as regular inspections.
Coordination of relevant occupational safety qualifications and training (including safety officers, first aiders, fire safety officers, forklift drivers, crane operators)
Participation in the management systems according to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001
Collaboration and consulting in the environmental sector (including waste management)
Taking on various responsibilities for the Kleve plant (e.g. fire protection)
Project management/project work in the HSE & Facility Management department
Company paramedic for the Kleve plant

your qualification
State-certified master craftsman/technician or engineer (m/f/d) with additional qualification as a specialist for occupational safety
Experience in providing safety-related support to a mechanical engineering company
Knowledge of the regulations and rules in the field of occupational safety
Ideally, you have expertise in environmental law (waste, water protection and air pollution control), preferably through prior experience as a company officer for waste, water protection or air pollution control, or a willingness to participate in further training.
Additional qualification as a fire safety officer (m/f/d) or willingness to undergo further training is an advantage.
Knowledge of environmental, occupational safety and energy management according to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and 50001 is desirable.
Good user skills in handling standard Microsoft software and knowledge of the occupational safety software "Quentic" are desirable.
Driving license class B
Willingness to undertake occasional business trips to Germany for cross-audits and departmental meetings
