Your contribution:
- Lead the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization ofMS SQL Server,PostgreSQL, andOracle databasesin a dynamic, enterprise-level setting, ensuring reliability and excellence at every step.
- Drive effective collaboration with development and cross-functional teams to anticipate and support complex database requirements, implementsecurity policies, and maintain efficient, compliant access controls.
- Proactively monitor and troubleshoot database performance, applyadvanced query tuning, and develop backup and recovery strategies to guaranteedata integrityandhigh availability.
- Strategically plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and consolidations, minimizing downtime and ensuring strict adherence toindustry best practicesand organizational standards.
- Mentor and empower junior DBAs, maintain exemplary technical documentation, and communicate fluidly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and continual improvement.
What you bring:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experiencemanagingMS SQL Server,PostgreSQL, andOracle databases, with a proven record inperformance analysis, optimization, and comprehensive administrationacross all platforms.
A completed degree in IT, preferably from a renowned university, or an equivalent high-quality qualification, providing a robust foundation in database management and system operations.
- Deep proficiency inT-SQL,PL/pgSQL, andPL/SQL; mastery of tools such asSQL Server Management Studio (SSMS),pgAdmin, andOracle SQL Developer; knowledge ofhigh availability solutions(Always On, Streaming Replication, Data Guard) and advanced backup and recovery technologies.
- Excellentanalytical thinking, exceptional attention to detail, and outstandingcommunication skillsenabling effective collaboration across teams and clear explanation of technical concepts.
- Stronginitiative, reliability, and a commitment tocontinuous improvement, complemented by excellentGerman and English language skillsfor seamless interaction in an international environment.
