Digital Activation Manager (Consumer Data Analysis) (m/w/d)
We are looking for a Digital Activation Manager (m/f/d) with focus on digital consumer data as of October 1st to strengthen our Marketing Department in Cologne. The position will be on a temporary basis for a duration of 1,5 years.
The Digital Activation Manager will operate within the Digital Team in the Marketing Department, playing a key role in shaping the digital ecosystem strategy for Reduced-Risk Products (RRP). This role will ensure data integrity across the full digital ecosystem, ensuring seamless consumer data management and deriving actionable insights. The Digital Activation Manager will be responsible for adapting the global data model into local data model, continuously monitoring and optimizing existing infrastructure and tools. He/she will act as a key link between business needs and technical execution, translating requirements into impactful digital solutions whilst collaborating with local agencies and global teams
Beyond data management, he/she will bring business analytics to life, providing insightful digital performance dashboards and proposals to help steering strategic decisions across the digital consumer journey.
We are looking for an experienced Digital Activation Manager who is passionate about Digital data analysis, monitoring and reporting and is constantly striving to develop relevant digital insights with strong business skills and consumer understanding.
Your talent - communication and organization
- University degree in Business/Economics, Marketing, IT or other related fields
- Solid professional experience in marketing and digital solutions
- Strong analytical and strategical thinking
- Very good understanding of Digital Marketing and respective technologies, in-depth knowledge in E-commerce and consumer lead generation
- 3-5 years of experience in consumer goods / tobacco industry is a plus
- Precise working approach with high demands in own work quality
- Very good interpersonal skills, open minded, quick learner
- Desire to contribute own ideas and attitude to implement projects successfully
- Very good presentation and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SQL, Jira, PowerBI, ServiceNow and Confluence; basic knowledge of HTML is advantageous
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)
- Fluent in English mandatory and basic German knowledge appreciated
Your tasks - exciting and diverse
- You will work with cross-functional teams, ensuring our platforms, structures and data governance are robust, then turning the data they hold into actionable reports, dashboards and insights
- Support the development of local Digital strategies and activities based on relevant data insights
- Responsibility for consumer marketing consent management, including compliance with legal guidance and ensuring accurate consumer segmentation
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, including IT, global Data Stewards and business users, to ensure effective data management and usage including preparing and supporting agencies of targeted segments for marketing activations such as e-crm campaigns
- Investigate consumer issues, recommend fraud prevention measures and implement actionable solutions
- Ability to analyse data from various sources, including web analytics, databases and CRM systems. Create clear and compelling data visualizations to present complex data in an understandable way
- Maintain, update and create local RRP digital business analytics dashboards in response to evolving business requirements
