Your tasks

• You will actively drive the sale of the TASCHEN program with a clear focus on generating new business and expanding our customer base
• You are confident making calls and reaching out to potential clients, both by phone and in person
• You will promote our brand and products through proactive customer acquisition and targeted follow-ups
• You bring your previous sales experience, ideally in an art, gallery, luxury retail, or comparable environment, to build strong client relationships and close deals
• You will support the team with warehouse management, ordering, database maintenance, coordination of incoming goods, merchandise shipments, and presentation and maintenance of the product range
• You will contribute your organizational skills to TASCHEN events such as book signings, art fairs, and new openings at home and abroad
• Your excellent communication skills in German and English (additional languages are a plus) help you to establish trust and long-term client relationships
• Social skills, a proactive, sales-driven mindset, and a customer-oriented approach enable you to meet and exceed both personal and team sales targets

Your profile

• Proven experience in sales, ideally in the art, gallery, or luxury sector
• You enjoy actively approaching new clients, including through calls and direct outreach
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent organizational abilities and a hands-on mentality
• Fluent in German and English, other languages are a plus
• Strong MS Office skills
