To support the continued growth of our Passenger business in Germany and across Europe, we are looking for an Inside Sales Manager to join our Commercial Team in Cologne. In this role, you will work at the core of our commercial activities, supporting leasing and tender processes for existing passenger fleets and new‑build projects. This position is well suited for high‑potential junior profiles who enjoy working with complex topics and want to grow in a professional, analytical commercial role.
Activities
- Support leasing and tender activities, including offer preparation, commercial analysis and internal coordination
- Prepare commercial inputs and bid documentation, taking ownership of defined work packages
- Conduct market, regulatory and financial research to support commercial and strategic decisions
- Coordinate internal stakeholders (Commercial, Technical, Finance, Legal) to ensure timely and compliant documentation
- Contribute to governance, reporting and continuous improvement of commercial processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or completed apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
- Around 2–4 years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, Commercial Operations or a comparable role in a leasing, financial or complex B2B environment
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills with a high level of intellectual curiosity
- Detail‑oriented, structured and reliable working style, especially when handling complex commercial topics
- Ideally experience in rail, leasing, finance or investment‑driven environments; exposure to asset‑intensive or regulated industries is a strong plus
