We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Technical Support Specialist (w/m/d) to join our team in Köstendorf . In this role, you’ll act as a key technical partner for our dealers and service representatives across the EMEA region. With your strong technical expertise, proactive approach, and excellent communication skills, you’ll play a vital role in solving challenges, improving processes, and building lasting relationships. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical support and guidance to dealers and service partners (primarily in the EMEA region)
- Collaborate in warranty claims handling, including managing complex cases and decisions.
- Identify and analyze recurring technical issues, and develop improvement measures
- Work closely with internal teams to optimize service processes and ensure continuous improvement
- Conduct on-site visits to dealers and customers to provide hands-on support
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical training in electronics, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering (e.g., apprenticeship, technical school, master technician)
- At least 3-5 years of experience in technical support or helpdesk role
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP and experience with ticketing systems; Knowledge of PALFINGER products will be considered an advantage
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Great communication skills, ability to self-organize and willingness to travel occasionally

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 46 614,68 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
