PCB Designer - Space / Aerospace / Defence

iO Associates is partnered with an innovative space client who design cutting-edge power electronics for space travel.
They are currently looking for a
PCB Designer
with a strong background in the space industry to help create high-quality products that meet their customer's needs.
Due to the nature of my client's defence projects, they can only consider
candidates with EU, NATO, or Central/South American citizenship.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional working experience in the space, aerospace or defence industry.
- Proficiency in multilayer layout design (ideally 6+ layers)
- 3+ years of experience in PCB design.
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities:
- Design PCBs for power electronics in close coordination with the circuit designer.
- Place components and handle wiring/routing.
- Ensure designs meet electrical, EMC, signal integrity, thermal, and installation space requirements.
- Maintain the internal component library.
- Control PCB layouts and create procurement specifications.
- Generate manufacturing data.
