As a Product Lifecycle Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for developing and optimising the performance of cutting-edge image processing technology to ensure the luggage of millions of passengers reaches its destination safely and efficiently.

Ihre Aufgaben / Your Responsibilities

Strategische Führung

• Sie übernehmen Verantwortung für den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus von BVS und dessen Produktportfolio.
• Sie legen Produktstrategie und Positionierung auf Basis von Markttrends und Kundenerfahrungen fest.
• Sie sind verantwortlich für die Durchführung von Markt- und Wettbewerbsanalysen zur Erschließung neuer Möglichkeiten.

Produktinnovation

• Sie transformieren Kundenbedürfnissen in klare Produktanforderungen und Preisstrategien.
• Sie definierten Zielvorgaben in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Bereichen Entwicklung und Vertrieb.
• Sie verwalten Entwicklungsbudgets und strukturieren Arbeitspakete zur Erzielung maximaler Mehrwerte.

Funktionsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit

• Sie arbeiten mit Projektteams, anderen Produktmanagern und wichtigen Stakeholdern zusammen.
• Sie überzeugen durch Ihr technisches Fachwissen bei Kundenpräsentationen, Ausschreibungen und Produkteinführungen.

Kommunikation & Unterstützung

• Sie erstellen überzeugende Produktdokumentationen, Präsentationen und Vertriebsinstrumente.
• Sie Liefern interne Updates und steuern Sie die Produktkommunikation im gesamten Unternehmen.
• Sie unterstützen mit Ihrer Expertise proaktiv Teams, welche sich in Kundenkontakt befinden.

Lebenszyklus- & Leistungsmanagement

• Sie überwachen KPIs und optimieren die Produktleistung kontinuierlich über den gesamten Lebenszyklus hinweg.

Strategic Leadership

• You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle of BVS and its product portfolio.
• You will define product strategy and positioning based on market trends and customer experiences.
• You will be responsible for conducting market and competitive analyses to identify new opportunities.

Product Innovation

• You translate customer needs into clear product requirements and pricing strategies.
• You define targets in close collaboration with the Development and Sales departments.
• You manage development budgets and structure work packages to maximize value.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• You collaborate with project teams, other product managers, and key stakeholders.
• You impress with your technical expertise during customer presentations, tenders, and product launches.

Communication & Support

• You create compelling product documentation, presentations, and sales tools.
• You provide internal updates and manage product communication across the entire company.
• You proactively support customer-facing teams with your expertise.

Lifecycle & Performance Management

• You monitor KPIs and continuously optimize product performance throughout the entire lifecycle.

Anforderungen / Requirements

• Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten zur Erkennung von Markttrends sowie die Fähigkeit, Kundenbedürfnisse zu erfassen und darauf einzugehen.
• Die Fähigkeit, überzeugende Argumente zu entwickeln, sowie komplexe Lösungen einfach und ansprechend darzustellen.
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Erfahrung in den Bereichen Produktmanagement, Strategieentwicklung und funktionsübergreifende Führung mit direktem Kundenkontakt in der Branche.
• Leidenschaft zur Vermittlung der Vorteile unserer Technologien und Innovationen im Luftfahrtsektor.
• Die Fähigkeit, in Geschäftsmodellen zu denken, sowie ein gutes Verständnis für kommerzielle KPI´s.

• Strong analytical skills for identifying market trends, as well as the ability to understand and address customer needs.
• The ability to develop compelling arguments and present complex solutions in a simple and engaging manner.
• At least 3 years of experience in product management, strategy development, and cross-functional leadership with direct customer contact in the industry.
• A passion for communicating the benefits of our technologies and innovations in the aviation sector.
• The ability to think in terms of business models, as well as a good understanding of commercial KPIs.
