Our client in the field of industrial vehicle technology is looking for motivated embedded specialists who are passionate about modern Linux systems and want to actively shape the technological future with their expertise. An innovative environment awaits you with exciting tasks in software development and cybersecurity .
Your tasks:
- Development and adaptation of driver and system software components based on Embedded Linux
- Updating the kernel source code and build systems, as well as maintaining and expanding the associated testing infrastructure
- Implementation of project-specific communication interfaces and protocols , e.g. CANopen, TRDP, or OPC UA
- Creation and development of obsolescence solutions for existing components, spare parts, and retrofit projects
- Support in implementing the Liebherr Product Cybersecurity Policy and taking on the role of security officer for a product line
Your profile:
- Completed university degree (TU/FH) in computer engineering, electrical engineering, control engineering or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in embedded development
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in the field of rail vehicles and industrial communication networks (e.g. IEC 62443)
- In-depth knowledge in:
- Computer technology and communication protocols (e.g. CANopen, TRDP)
- Embedded Linux , Zephyr
- Programming languages: C/C++, Python, JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of:
- Yocto
- Docker
- Ptest
- Analytical thinking skills and a self-reliant and structured working style
- Team spirit and good English skills , both written and spoken
