As a specialized Software Sales Representative, you will drive software sales by leveraging your technical expertise to pitch the benefits of EOS's software portfolio to new and existing customers. Your primary focus will be to sell EOS products and services, which are integral to our larger additive manufacturing solutions, to customers who are typically technical staff from OEMs, manufacturers, service providers, and other technology-driven industries. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing pre and post-sales support. In this role, you will collaborate regularly with sales, marketing, applications, consulting, production, and management teams to tailor your approach based on the required technical knowledge to effectively sell the software portfolio.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Identify and engage potential new clients to maximize client potential
- Define Software go-to-market strategy together with the Head of LCS
- Support the development of the internal software sales process
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase product benefits
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships
- Provide input for calculating quotations and negotiating sales and contract terms
- Offer pre-sales technical assistance and product training
- Promote company products and services, offering technical support as needed
- Conduct product training sessions and create support materials for the sales team
- Support marketing efforts by attending trade shows, conferences, and other events.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing process improvement sales or equivalent
- Strong technical background in additive manufacturing, systems, processes, and part design
- Experience in High-Tech manufacturing sales, particularly in CAD/CAM, tooling, machines, laser technology, or additive manufacturing
- Proven track record in target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales.
- Experience in selling software subscriptions as part of a manufacturing solution is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus) and organizational skills
- Good business sense and sound judgment
- Proven ability to build relationships and solve problems effectively
- Experience in working internationally is an advantage.
- High self-motivation, professional representation, and team-player attitude.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments
