For our Institute for Hygiene and Laboratory Medicine at the Krefeld site, we are looking for you as a full-time (38.5 hours per week) MTL / Medical Technologist for Laboratory Analysis Molecular Biology (m/f/d) as of 01.03.2026.

• You will strengthen our team in the field of molecular biology
• Various nucleic acid extraction methods
• Various real-time PCR methods for the detection of pathogens
• Work with modern high-throughput PCR systems
• Sequencing of pathogens

• Successfully completed vocational training as an MTL / medical technologist for laboratory analysis (m/f/d)
• Knowledge of working with IT systems
• High precision and accuracy in documenting and analyzing laboratory findings
• You value independent, team-oriented work
• Open-mindedness towards new techniques
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

The Institute for Hygiene and Laboratory Medicine provides the Helios clinics in Krefeld, Uerdingen and Hüls with all laboratory medicine, microbiology and molecular biology, transfusion medicine and hospital hygiene services as a central laboratory. Approximately 3 million tests are carried out each year. Our many years of experience in laboratory medicine, state-of-the-art technology and short transportation routes for sample material are the most important prerequisites for fast and high-quality analysis.
