Software Engineer PLC (m/f/d)

We have the highest order backlog in the company's history and are looking for a PLC software engineer (m/f/d) for our transformer Lines division with the following main tasks and areas of expertise:

Your tasks

You will support our automation department and contribute to the development of creative and cost-effective software solutions for highly automated cutting systems.

• Collaboration in the development of control software in the SIEMENS TIA portal
• Programming of robot systems
• Design and optimization of machine processes, taking into account the mechanics, electrical drive technology, and pneumatic/hydraulic fluid technology used
• Introduction, testing, and documentation of new software modules for existing and new mechanical applications
• Support for commissioning in the assembly plant and worldwide acceptance on site at our customers' premises

Your profile

You have already gained initial professional experience in automated plant engineering, are familiar with complex technical challenges, and know how to turn your own creative ideas into marketable solutions.

• Completed engineering degree (technical college) in electrical engineering, specializing in automation technology, or comparable qualifications.
• Good knowledge of SIEMENS-TIA Portal.
• Ideally, knowledge of robotics and cyber security.
• High level of communication skills, flexibility, and mobility
