Your tasks

• Perform product safety assessments, hazard identification, and risk analyses (e.g., FMEA, Hazard Analysis)
• Monitor legislative changes and adapt internal procedures accordingly
• Apply and implement relevant safety and compliance standards (e.g., UL, CE, ISO, RoHS, REACH, FCC)
• Lead certification processes in collaboration with external testing labs
• Participate in design reviews and integrate safety considerations early in development
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
• Create and maintain safety and compliance documentation (e.g., test protocols, risk registers, SDS)
• Deliver internal training on safety and compliance standards
• Promote safety awareness through internal outreach and sustainability initiatives

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical), Safety Science, or Environmental Science
• Relevant professional experience in product safety and compliance roles
• Proven expertise in regulatory standards and certification processes (e.g., UL, CE, ATEX, IECEx)
• Skilled in hazard analysis, risk mitigation, test planning, and FMEA
• Familiar with product compliance regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH, FCC, OSHA, PFAS, GMP)
• Strong documentation and regulatory reporting capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
