With innovative pre-fillable syringes, self-injection systems, safety systems and needle technologies, the Pharmaceutical Systems (PS) team offer an extensive selection of solutions designed to protect, package and deliver drug therapies.
Member of the Designated Complaint Handling unit within BD Medical – Pharmaceutical Systems WW Quality System team,

The PMQ Staff Specialist plays a critical role, ensuring that customer complaint investigation reports meet regulatory and customer expectations. This includes delivering high-quality technical writing, robust root cause analysis
and clear risk assessments.

The role also supports the continuous improvement of investigation quality and leads training initiatives for the global investigator network.

It also involves analyzing product performance to anticipate any patient risk and propose and drive improvements.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Complaint Product Performance Analysis

- Conduct routinely product performance data analyses and identify adverse trend and associated risks

- Provide recommendations to the business for improvements and contribute to Post Market Surveillance.

Harmonization & Coherency Across Sites
- Drive the harmonization and consistency of complaint investigation reports across all global sites.

- Ensure alignment in structure, terminology, and technical depth to maintain a unified standard of quality and customer communication.

Training & Capability Building
- Design and deliver training programs for complaint investigators on Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Technical writing, Risk management, Statistical tools for complaint trending and analysis

- Support onboarding of new investigators and provide ongoing coaching to improve investigation quality.

Process Improvement
- Follow quality metrics related to Investigation report performance (e.g., Report Right First Time) and identify areas for improvement.

- Contribute to the development and deployment of standardized templates and tools for complaint documentation.

Preferred Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance or regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies
- Deep Knowledge of global regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, MDR).
- Experience with complaint management systems.

- Experience in Design control and risk management

Salary range f or the role: €55.000 to €65.000
