HIWI (SHL or WHK, f/m/d) for Chemistry Modeling and Catalyst Development

Become part of the climate revolution!

We are an aspiring startup from Leipzig, Germany, with the ambitious goal of making CO2 usable as a raw material for the synthesis of chemical base materials. To achieve this, we are developing innovative plasma catalysis reactors at our location in Leipzig, in the modern Campus BioCity. To support our development, we are looking for a committed HIWI to join our modeling and simulation team for syngas production.

The opportunity – Shape your influential role

As a HIWI for Chemistry Modeling and Catalyst Development, you will support our efforts by optimizing and evaluating chemistry datasets, as well as conducting research and implementing surface reactions for catalyst development. Your responsibilities will involve refining chemical models for syngas production and advancing catalyst performance through the research and implementation of surface reactions.

Your profile – face challenges and develop yourself further

  • Student of engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field.
  • Basic programming skills, ideally Python, and a willingness to work with code.
  • An analytical mindset, able to handle and interpret data effectively.
  • A structured and independent work style.
  • Fluent in English or German.

Your benefits – Develop yourself and change the world

  • Rapid skill development within an innovative environment
  • Chance to make a meaningful impact on climate solutions
  • Flexible scheduling, with potential for part-time arrangements
  • High degree of autonomy and responsibility
  • Varied opportunities for personal and professional growth

Have we piqued your interest? Then we look forward to receiving your application! Please send your CV and a short cover letter (max 400 words) to Jobs@enaDyne.de .
