As of 01.07.2026, the Helios Heart Center Leipzig is looking for a social worker (m/f/d) for a part-time position with 28.5 hours per week.

The employment is initially limited to one year, with the possibility of extension.

• Advice, care and support for patients, relatives and other caregivers
• Guidance for patients to independently clarify private issues (including financial and legal issues, housing matters, occupational and pension issues, as well as support for reintegration into working life)
• Coordination of all tasks within the recovery process with internal and external people involved
• Implementation of documentation and guidance of interns
• Cooperation with all professional groups within the clinic, responsible authorities, offices, sponsors and institutions in the health and social sector

• A degree in social worker, social pedagogue (diploma, bachelor's, master's degree), state recognition mandatory
• Several years of professional experience desirable
• Willingness to cooperate across professional groups
• You are committed, a team player and have organizational talent as well as a stable personality, and you always work patient-oriented
• Friendly, confident appearance and enjoyment of dealing with people, resilience and flexibility
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles
