To enhance our successful Production Engineering Team in Leoben, Austria , we are looking for a passionate

PE/CAM Systems Engineer (f/m/d)

In your role, your solutions will drive smarter production, shape high-end PE/CAM systems, and turn complexity into operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

• Automate PE/CAM processes to reduce error rates and save time by creating and implementing automation scripts
• Develop, optimize, and enhance internal AT&S PE/CAM applications to increase efficiency and usability for operators and production
• Conduct performance and feasibility analysis of PE/CAM processes to identify and implement improvement opportunities
• Maintain and modify self-developed tools to ensure alignment with evolving production requirements
• Establish standards for software development, documentation, and nomenclature for a consistent technical landscape
• Model and maintain databases to organize PE/CAM-relevant data based on structural needs
• Coordinate with operational departments to assess technical feasibility and support system integration
• Act as key interface with IT and external vendors to guarantee system stability, compliance, and security

Your Profile

• Technical education (e.g. HTL, FH or university) in computer science, information technology or similar field
• Solid programming knowledge in Java; scripting experience in Perl and Shell
• Good understanding of relational databases (e.g. MSSQL, MySQL)
• Familiarity with interface formats such as XML, JSON, CSV
• Basic IT infrastructure knowledge (network, OS)
• Experience with PE/CAM systems (e.g. UCAM, ENGENIX, INTEGR8TOR) is an asset
• 3–5 years of experience working with or developing similar systems/tools is preferred
• Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
• Strong analytical skills, solution orientation and a structured approach to problem solving
