ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The Global Logistics Services (GLS) team invites you to contribute to shaping the supply chain of Bayer AG's Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Health Division. As part of our team, you will work on strategic and operational projects, focusing on logistics management, supply chain optimization, and digital solutions. You will gain deep insights into Bayer logistics, from product production to warehousing and transport to our customers.
YOUR TASKS AND EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
- Become part of a project team and support various logistics and supply chain projects
- Assist with strategic assessments and evaluations, contributing to the development of project plans and monitoring project progress
- Conduct detailed analyses and participate in workshops, interviews, and research
- Support the creation of processes for onboarding locations and new transport lanes, including developing checklists and regional harmonization of master data
- Prepare presentations and status updates, and assist with data analysis and evaluation
- Contribute to the implementation of suggestions to improve daily work routines and support continuous improvement measures in transport and warehousing
- Engage in cross-functional exchanges to ensure new products are transported and stored based on the best and most sustainable solutions
WHO YOU ARE
- Ongoing Master's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a similar field
- Motivation, interest, and initial experience in supply chain management, transportation, and warehousing
- Experience in project management in an international environment is desirable
- Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint); knowledge of analysis and visualization tools, including Power BI
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a structured manner
- Excellent communication skills and a keen interest in working with international colleagues across various functions
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills are a plus
