The main task of this position is to further develop the range of courses offered for the Bachelor's and Master's programmes in Medical Engineering. Corresponding research activities in this area offer the opportunity to obtain a postdoctoral qualification.

Job Duties:
- Autonomous teaching (organization, management, and actual teaching) of undergraduate and graduate courses in medical engineering in various formats (lecture, seminar, etc.) 12 hours per week
- Creation of test contents as well as conducting exams
- Development of innovative teaching concepts, especially in the field of medical engineering
- Supervision, mentoring and feedback of bachelor and master theses
- Independent handling of administrative activities in the university context, especially regarding the coordination of the medical engineering study courses
- Taking part in the research activities of the institute
- The successful candidate must hold a University degree (Doctorate/Ph.D.) in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, medical engineering or a related subject
- Teaching experience at the university level (in the area of medical engineering or related fields) on Bachelor and Master level
- Ability to teach in German and English (German level C1, English level B2+)
- The willingness to further didactic training
- High level of motivation and communication skills, willing to work in teams, service orientation
- On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 5,014.30 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
