Senior Lecturer (must hold a Doctorate/Ph.D. degree) for a 30-hour/week (part-time), five-year position

Job Duties:

• Independent design and implementation of seminars and lectures in Bachelor's and Master's programs
• Independent political science research and publication activities. There is the possibility of obtaining a postdoctoral qualification.
• Supervision of bachelor's and master's theses and participation in examinations
• Participation in the institute's activities (e.g., scientific events, knowledge transfer, committee work)

Your Qualifications:

• The successful candidate must hold a doctorate/Ph.D. degree in Political Science
• Experience in university teaching
• National and international standing in the political science research community (publications, conferences, professional associations)
• Communiacation and teamwork skills
• Very good German and English language skills (German: C1; English: B2)

• On the basis of full-time employment (40 hours/week) the minimum salary in accordance with the collective agreement is € 5,014.30 gross per month (14 x per year, CA Job Grade: B1)
