In this position at our location in Linz, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d) on a full-time basis in the Hydrualic Research & Development department.

YOUR PROFILE

• Finished technical education at college level or higher
• Good knowledge in 3D design (Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter)
• Good knowledge of heavy mechanical equipment, welded structures, methods of manufacturing andf machining
• Ideally expierience with FEA software (preferable ANSYS)
• Very good English skills and ideally good German skills
• Independent, well.structured and precise way of working
• Great commitment and flexibility
• Readiness to occasional business trips
• High communicational skills and ability to work in a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgement, initiative & creativity

YOUR TASKS

• Creating 3D models for structual mechanical assessment
• Optimizing designs and design concepts in collaboration with hydraulic development
• Active participation in mechanical analysis of conponents of hydro power plants
• Close collaboration with colleagues in other departments and locations
• Review and release of mechanical designs under consideration of contractual and internal requirements

OUR OFFER

We are legally obliged to state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position, which is gross € 3.802,93 per month. However, we offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and professional experience in any case.
