Sales Manager Digitalization (m/f/*)

What are my responsibilities?

Join our team and work for one of the three global "Big Players” in the steel-plant building industry. Sell concepts and solutions to our customers worldwide that help to shape the future of steel production regarding digitalization, quality and environmental protection!

We are offering this position in our department Electrics & Automation Industrial Digitalization (EA ID TPQC) with the following tasks:

  • Take ownership for the sales of your technological solutions in the field of automation and digitalization
  • Deliver the best technical solutions for our customers and prepare technical offers, including cost calculation
  • Take care of our international customers, develop sales strategies and customer-specific winning strategies
  • Work together with all internal stakeholders by actively involving them
  • Represent our solutions at conferences, fairs, exhibitions, etc. worldwide
  • Have a keen eye for emerging trends and the passion to force them into impactful sales strategies that drive growth and innovation

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Higher technical degree (HTL, FH/ Universität)
  • Several years of experience in technical sales (B2B) preferred in industrial environments (steel, metallurgy, digitalization)
  • Excellent English skills
  • Commitment to travel internationally 20% (weekly, approximately 6-8 weeks per year)
  • Passionate about exploring new ideas, technologies and market opportunities

What else do I need to know?

The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR EUR 46.614,68 (E/00) bzw. EUR 52.197,04 (F/00). This could rise considerably, depending on qualifications and experience. Our Pioneers at Heart receive ongoing training in a wide range of areas through the "Metals Academy”. In addition, we offer further benefits: From flexible working hours and home office options to free parking and discounted lunch menus. We also offer a voluntary sixth week of holiday from the age of 50.
