YOUR TASKS

As the Global Commodity Director for Central Equipment, you will assume worldwide responsibility for the strategic direction, further development, and performance of the "Central Equipment” commodity group. You will shape global purchasing strategies, drive synergies within the FORVIA transformation, and develop long-term partnerships with our international suppliers

• Develop and manage global strategies for all relevant sub‑commodities within Central Equipment, with a focus on long‑term partnerships and sustainable value creation.
• Global responsibility for the supplier panel as well as the execution of RF-X processes, negotiations, and contract closures.

• Continuous analysis of market trends and derivation of suitable purchasing and innovation strategies in close alignment with relevant stakeholders.
  
• Optimization of Source‑to‑Contract and Procure‑to‑Pay processes, including the use of modern negotiation methods and e‑auctions.
  
• Lead and further develop an international commodity team while promoting global best‑practice approaches.
  
• Build and maintain a global sourcing pipeline and support standardization and synergy projects within the FORVIA transformation.
  
• Prepare and manage the annual commodity plan, including relevant contracts and RF-X activities.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in engineering, business administration, or a comparable qualification
  
• Several years of experience in purchasing or operations - ideally with a focus on equipment - as well as a deep understanding of commodity, market, and cost models
  
• Proven experience in project and transformation management, along with strong financial acumen and confident data analysis skills
  
• International leadership experience (disciplinary and/or functional)
  
• Experience in the automotive sector is an advantage
  
• Fluent English skills and willing to travel internationally (20-30 %)
