Your Tasks
Are you familiar with trade-in and buyback solutions? CTDI is already running trade-in programs in Europe and we will further extend our activities. Therefore, we are searching for a proactive and strategic Trade-In Manager to lead our trade-in initiatives for used electronic devices. You will lead our overall trade-in strategy in close alignment with internal stakeholders and regional branch offices, driving business growth and delivering value to customers and partners. You will continuously develop and improve our market proposition, the trade-in platform and its functionalities. You will oversee existing and new trade-in programs and work on RFIs for winning, implementing and running new business. You will work on our trade-in commission plan, and you will create offers reports and track results.
- Continually review and optimize trade-in propositions based on market trends, competitor analysis and customer needs
- Drive the continuous development and improvement of the trade-in platform - enhancing functionalities, user experience and operational efficiency
- Manage existing trade-in programs, ensuring operational excellence, partner satisfaction and ongoing enhancement
- Prepare and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information) to secure new business and trade-in opportunities
- Lead the implementation and operationalization of new trade-in programs, working closely with stakeholders to deliver seamless rollouts
- Create tailored trade-in offers for partners and customers based on business objectives and market insights
- Generate and analyse regular reports on program performance, pricing and customer uptake; provide actionable recommendations to senior management
- Track and report result to monitor achievement of key performance indicators, driving continuous improvement and accountability
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, sales & sourcing, operational, product and marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of all trade-in activities
You are reporting into the Vice President Mobility.
Your Qualifications
- Strong experience in trade-in management, recommerce or related fields - especially for used smartphones, tablets, MacBooks and other electronic devices; Sales and/or Sourcing background is a plus
- Strong understanding of the electronic device lifecycle, pricing and market dynamics in recommerce
- Experience in managing digital platforms and developing customer-facing propositions
- Excellent project management, analytical and reporting skills
- Proven ability to drive business development and manage stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and navigate in international environments
- Strategic and commercial mindset with a focus on innovation and business development
- Superb communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
