Job Description:
In order to support the Combat MSS Solutions team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Air Operational Advisor (d/f/m) – Future Mission Support Systems
We develop and maintain Mission Support Systems (MSS) software for our Combat Aircraft Eurofighter, Tornado and Mission/Transport Aircraft A400M, C295, MRTT as well as for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and Future Combat Air System at the Airbus-sites in Manching & Friedrichshafen/Germany and Getafe/Spain.
Our Mission Support Systems enable development and evaluation of military aircraft mission data, especially in the context of mission planning, rehearsal and de-briefing as well as for electronic warfare, defensive aids and sensor fusion.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Support the system development teams with your operational knowledge and flight crew experience with respect to current and future Mission Support Systems
Support to and participate in customer meetings and workshops
Present new concepts, capabilities and products to internal and external stakeholders
Support in opening new markets for existing and new products for other platforms
Foster collaboration within our project team and with involved stakeholders - internal and external
Actively support the continuous improvements of our products, projects and processes
Desired skills and qualifications
Operational experience as military flight crew (e.g. AWACS) having the role of fighter allocator, battle manager and controller with extensive experience
Profound knowledge in mission support software (military and civil applications) or equivalent systems are of advantage
Strong team player, independent working method and high quality awareness
Strong presentation skills
Strong ability to motivate
Negotiation level in German and English is a must
