In this role, you develop and integrate navigation systems for the Eurodrone program. You translate operational requirements into certified, aviation-compliant technical solutions and support the full development cycle from concept and architecture to validation and certification.

Your tasks

• Analyzing, evaluating, and coordinating navigation system requirements derived from the operational concept

• Translating requirements into technical solutions considering existing aviation equipment and functions

• Close collaboration with software and system engineers to implement the developed architecture

• Developing innovative integration methods for dual-use sensor concepts in aeronautical navigation

• Performing trade-off analyses

• Specifying, developing, and testing advanced navigation systems

• Implementing and supporting software prototypes for navigation systems

• Supporting system integration and verification through functional testing

• Understanding electrical diagrams and validating integration within the platform (3Dx)

• Applying environmental standards for equipment qualification

• Participating in validation and design reviews according to aviation development processes

• Supporting certification activities, including interaction with aviation authorities (e.g. EASA)

Your profile

• University degree (Master/Diploma) in mathematics, physics, computer science, or a comparable technical field

• Several years of professional experience in engineering, IT/information systems, or aerospace

• Experience as an aviation system engineer is an advantage

• Strong analytical skills and structured, independent working style

• Ability to work effectively in international and multidisciplinary teams

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar

• Fluent English; German is a plus
